Description:
Viburnum prunifolium 'Forest Rouge' is a deciduous shrub known for its vibrant fall foliage and creamy-white spring flowers. The leathery leaves transition from yellow-green to dark green, while the young stems are dark red. This native plant attracts pollinators like butterflies and produces edible bluish-black berries high in Vitamin C, often called wild raisins. It grows best in full sun or partial shade, reaching 8-10 feet in height and 6-8 feet in spread, and is deer resistant.
