Verbena catharinae 'Lavender Frappe'

Family: Verbenaceae, Genus: Verbena

Description:

Verbena catharinae 'Lavender Frappe' is a drought-tolerant perennial introduced by Plant Delights/JLBG in 2011. It forms a 1-inch tall carpet of finely dissected green foliage, adorned with medium purple flowers in spring and summer. This plant can spread to a 3-foot wide patch within a year and tolerates temperatures as low as 7°F. Its low-growing habit makes it ideal for groundcover in sunny gardens, attracting butterflies and other pollinators.
