Description:
This deep purple, multi-stemmed plant grows 3 to 5 feet tall with corn-like purple leaves and an 8 to 12-inch purple flower spike. It is heat- and drought-tolerant and was formerly known as Pennisetum glaucum. It won the All-America Selections Gold Medal in 2003.
