Description:

Callisia rosea is a native plant with narrow green leaves and tiny lavender-pink flowers that open in the morning and close in the afternoon. It is suitable for rock gardens and forms a mature clump that can reach 10 inches wide and 8 inches tall. This plant is a miniature version of the common spiderwort and is native to the sandhills region from Maryland through Florida.
