Description:

Dorstenia elata is an endangered plant native to the Atlantic Forest of southeastern Brazil. It features dark green, broad, glossy leaves and a unique inflorescence that resembles a flat disc of tiny flowers. This plant thrives in shade to partial shade and requires a temperature range of 50 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. It grows to a height of 12 to 15 inches and prefers to be kept moist but not waterlogged.
