Description:
The 'Desoto Blue' cultivar was discovered in Desoto Parish, Louisiana, and grows in sandy blackland prairies. It features narrow glaucous blue foliage with curly filifers and forms 20-inch tall by 40-inch wide offsetting rosettes. It produces 7-foot tall hairy flower spikes with large white bell-shaped flowers in late spring.
