Description:

This plant is characterized by its cylindrical, spiraling foliage and white flowers with spikey seedpods. It grows to a height of 10-12 inches and spreads 12-18 inches wide. Thriving in marshes and swamps, it loves moisture and can grow in USDA zones 5-11. It can tolerate full sun or partial shade and requires lots of water. Pruning is best done in early spring.
