Description:

Native to the Americas, this sprawling or vining cactus climbs using aerial roots and can reach a height of 10 meters or more. It produces ornate, fragrant white flowers that bloom only at night and can have multiple flowering cycles per year in tropical climates. It produces edible red fruits known as dragon fruit and thrives in dry, tropical or subtropical climates with full sun to partial shade. It is part of the Cactaceae family.
