Description:
Agave weberi, also known as maguey liso, is a suckering species with leafy trunks that rarely exceed 3 feet in height. Native to Mexico, this plant is cultivated for ornamental purposes, fiber, and pulque production. It thrives in sandy soils, especially near coasts, and can be found naturalized in Texas, Florida, and parts of South Africa.
