Description:

Dionaea muscipula 'Whale' is a variety of Venus flytrap known for its large green traps with softly fringed, mutated cilia. It requires full sun and should always sit in at least two inches of distilled or purified water. This plant undergoes winter dormancy, during which traps turn black and die back, and it can tolerate a wide temperature range from 20°F to 100°F.
