Description:

Rhododendron 'Boursault' is an evergreen shrub known for its brilliant clear blue-violet petals with brick reddish or pale brown markings. It provides year-round garden structure and is cold-hardy in USDA zones 4 to 8. This plant grows 5-6 feet in height and 6-8 feet in width, attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. It prefers acidic soils with a pH of 4.5 to 6 and requires well-drained soil. Low maintenance with regular moisture, it should be pruned only after flowering to maintain its shape and health.
