Description:
Nepenthes bongso is a tropical pitcher plant native to the highlands of Sumatra, Indonesia. It is known for its large, darkly colored pitchers with a wide, flared peristome, which are deep purple and nearly black. This plant thrives in moderately bright indirect light and requires warm days and cool nights with good humidity.
