Description:
The variegated 'String of Hearts' is a trailing succulent native to South Africa, known for its heart-shaped leaves with purple undersides and pink and silver or creamy-white variegation. It can hang up to 10 feet from the pot and produces small, tubular pink or purple flowers from late winter to early spring. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light, prefers well-draining soil, and can withstand long periods of drought. It is toxic to cats, dogs, and children and is susceptible to mealybugs, spider mites, and scale insects.
