Description:

Typhonium trilobatum 'Galloway Giant' is a plant native to regions from India to Malaysia, known for its 18-inch tall mound of foliage and cupped, liver-red flowers in summer. It prefers moist, alkaline woodland soils and has been used for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The plant's corms are edible but have also been used as a means of suicide in Southeast Asia.
