Description:

Echeveria derenbergii, native to Mexico, is a charming evergreen succulent with a dense basal rosette of pagoda-shaped, frosted leaves. It grows to about 3 inches wide and produces golden-yellow flowers with red tips in winter. This plant is ideal for rock gardens and as a potted plant, forming colonies of small offsets. It requires winter protection in cooler regions and has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its ornamental value.
