Description:
This hybrid of S. leucophylla x rubra features bright red, green, and white pitchers with dominant areoles and broad, ruffled hoods. The traps turn deep red or maroon in cold weather and the plant forms large, full colonies. It prefers open, sunny, boggy conditions and holds its color into frost. Fragrant dark red flowers bloom in early spring, and the plant is well-suited for backyard bog gardens with winter protection.
