Description:
Native to the southwest US, from Texas to South America, this plant is found on well-drained limestone outcrops and slopes. It has narrow upright semi-evergreen dark green fronds with white backs and forms a tight 18-inch wide clump. It has a short creeping rhizome that usually hides beneath a large rock and is not easy to cultivate.
