Description:
Discovered in a Japanese nursery, this plant forms a 4-inch tall by 15-inch wide clump of pinnate green leaves with a creamy border. It has a stable variegation pattern and produces 7-inch tall spikes with burgundy tips in early June. Native to wet grassy meadows and streamsides in the Western US, it has various medicinal uses.
