Description:
An aquatic plant native to the Philippines, this species thrives in fully aquatic environments and grows up to 8 cm tall. It has pale green to green, oblong to elliptical leaves with sharply pointed tips and broadly wavy edges. The plant prefers medium to low lighting and temperatures between 20-28°C, and it can be planted in substrate or attached to hardscape materials. It is the only Schismatoglottis species capable of growing fully aquatic and is used in aquascaping.
