Description:

Endemic to Borneo, this plant has a variety of forms throughout its range and was previously classified under fusca before its taxonomy was revised. Known as the wide peristome form, it grows in very exposed areas under full sun, particularly around the abandoned Mamut Copper Mine in Sabah, Malaysia.
