Dionaea muscipula 'Belzebub'

Family: Droseraceae, Genus: Dionaea

Description:

Dionaea muscipula 'Belzebub', a variety of the Venus Flytrap, is known for its distinctive traps with uneven teeth that blush an orangey red. This carnivorous plant requires full sun and should be kept in at least two inches of distilled or purified water. It undergoes a winter dormancy, during which traps turn black and die back. The plant can tolerate a wide temperature range, from freezing to 100 degrees Fahrenheit for short periods.
