Description:
Hosta pulchella 'Kifukurin' is a dwarf Japanese species with a golden edge, discovered on the south side of Mt. Sobo in Japan. It forms an 8-inch wide clump and is perfect for woodland rock gardens. In early summer, it produces 10-inch scapes of purple flowers. This plant thrives in shaded conditions and is a charming addition to gardens in USDA zones 3a to 9b.
