Description:
Found by Richard Neufeld in Oceanside, California, this plant reaches 10 feet tall by the end of the season. It has a deciduous rootstock, bamboo-looking canes with large, corn-like green foliage, and is topped with non-seeding, cattail-like flower heads in late October. It is deer-resistant.
