Description:
Sarracenia 'Love Bug' is a compact and vigorous hybrid pitcher plant with striking red pitchers and broad arching hoods. It inherits its red and white coloration from S. leucophylla parentage and prefers open, sunny, boggy conditions. This plant produces fragrant red flowers mid-season and is a result of complex breeding efforts at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
