This plant thrives in rocky environments and is highly drought-tolerant, requiring infrequent watering. It can grow up to 3 to 5 inches tall and prefers well-draining soil with coarse sand or gravel. Haworthia turgida is resilient, surviving in low light to bright, indirect light conditions. It blooms in spring with small, green tube-shaped flowers and is easy to propagate through offset removal. This succulent is hardy to temperatures as low as 23°F and is summer-dormant.
