Description:

Hypoxis argentea is a South African plant that grows in grassy areas among large rocks. It forms a 1-foot tall and wide clump of upright grass-like foliage covered in dense white silky hairs. Bright yellow flowers appear in spring, and the plant dies back to an underground corm in winter.
