Amorphophallus laoticus is a striking plant native to the woodlands of Laos, featuring narrow segmented foliage that emerges black with a faint red edge. Its leaf petiole can reach 2 feet tall, while the inflorescence tops a 5-foot tall flowering stalk. The flower is green with splotches on the outside and purple-black inside.
