Description:
This plant forms clumps up to 1 meter wide with flattened globose stems that are dull green and up to 7 cm in diameter. It produces deep pink to purplish pink flowers and scarlet fruits, and is native to Sonora, Mexico. It is drought-tolerant and prefers full sun to partial shade.
