Description:

Polygonatum macropodum is a woodland garden plant native to the forested regions north of Beijing. It forms symmetrical clumps of arching stems with deeply-veined green leaves. In mid-May, it produces white clustered bell flowers, which are later replaced by blue fruit in late summer and fall.
