Description:
This plant features 6-inch stiffly upright fronds with rigid, glaucous blue-green leaves. It thrives in well-drained neutral-to-alkaline soils and requires occasional moisture once established. Found at the base of large rocks in the wild, it is grown from spore collections in Jeff Davis Co., Texas, at 5,000 feet elevation. It has a slightly smaller and more compact form and is not easy to cultivate, making it suitable for experienced gardeners.
