Description:
Vaccinium ashei 'Climax' is an early-ripening rabbiteye blueberry bush known for its heat and humidity tolerance. It produces medium-sized, sweet berries from late May to early June and requires cross-pollination and about 450 chill hours. The plant grows 3 to 15 feet tall and 3 to 10 feet wide, with brilliant scarlet foliage in autumn, and thrives in acidic soil in USDA zones 7-9.
