Description:

Indigofera balfouriana is a plant native to Yunnan Province, China, found on dry hillsides at elevations of 7,000 to 8,000 feet. It grows to 6 feet tall with upright, slightly suckering stems and honey locust-like foliage. The plant flowers from early May until fall, producing 3-inch spikes of pink-lavender blooms.
