Description:
Lycoris rosea 'Caldwell's Rose' is a striking plant with 20-inch stalks of narrow-petaled cherry-red flowers that bloom in early August. The flowers feature a darker central cherry stripe and a lavender blush on the petal tips. Its narrow, strap-like leaves emerge in early September and remain green all winter, though they burn below 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
