Description:
Edgeworthia chrysantha, also known as the Japanese Paper Bush, is a deciduous shrub with a rounded shape and smooth brown trunk. It features satiny green foliage in summer and white buds that open to yellow flowers in early spring. A rare variety also produces red-orange flowers. This plant can grow up to 5 feet tall and 7 feet wide over ten years, making it a striking addition to gardens. It prefers partial sun to light shade and well-drained soil.
