Description:

This plant features enormous cone-shaped blooms up to 16 inches long that transition from white to pink. It is a deciduous tree that grows to about 6-8 feet in height and width, thriving in USDA zones 3-8. It prefers full sun to part shade and consistently moist but well-drained soil. The blooms appear in mid to late summer and last through fall until the first frost. It is relatively low maintenance and drought-tolerant once established.
