Description:
Syringa 'Smsjbp7', a reblooming lilac, features large violet blooms that appear in spring and again from mid-summer to fall. This compact, mounded shrub attracts wildlife and pollinators while being low maintenance and deer resistant. It grows best in full sun, reaching 4-6 feet in both height and width, and prefers well-drained, fertile loam with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH. Hardy in USDA zones 3-7, it should be pruned after its spring bloom if needed.
