Description:
This plant has thin, fan-shaped stems and spines that are more tightly packed than typical forms. It can be grafted onto column-shaped cacti or grow its own roots if degrafted. The plant grows slowly and produces flowers in spring and summer. It requires a regular cactus soil mix with good drainage and should be watered only when the soil is dry, avoiding watering in winter. It is hardy in zones 9-11 and can tolerate little shade and full sunlight in summer.
