Description:

Fatsia japonica is an evergreen plant native to southern Japan and Korea, known for its variegated white and medium green foliage. It can brighten shady patio areas and complements white-flowering plants. The plant features glossy, deeply lobed leaves and can grow up to 15 feet tall in warmer climates. In November, it produces small white flowers followed by blue fruit. Fatsia japonica is effective at removing gaseous formaldehyde from indoor air, making it a beneficial houseplant. It is hardy in various climates and has become naturalized in some areas outside its native range.
