Description:
The Java Fern is a smaller variant of Microsorum pteropus, an epiphytic aquarium plant native to Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia. It thrives in low light conditions and a wide range of water parameters, making it easy to care for. This plant propagates through its leaves and should not have its rhizome buried. Java Fern can be attached to driftwood, stones, and other decorations, providing cover for young shrimp and fish. It grows slowly to moderately and looks best when planted in groups. CO2 injection can enhance its growth, although it is not necessary.
