Description:

Cryptocoryne cordata var. evae, commonly known as Water Trumpet, is an aquatic plant native to the marshes of southern Thailand, Malaysia, and Borneo. It is suitable for beginners but sensitive to changes in water parameters, often undergoing 'crypt melt' when stressed. This plant prefers moderate to low lighting and requires high levels of calcium, CO2, phosphate, iron, and nitrate. It can grow both submersed and emersed, producing flowers above water and propagating through runners.
