Description:
A small succulent originating from Mexico, this plant grows to about 2 inches in height and forms multiple globose-shaped stem clumps with 4 to 5 radial spines. It is winter-dormant and prefers medium to light shade sun exposure. The plant produces white and green flowers in summer and requires regular watering in summer but should be kept dry in winter. It is frost-resistant to -2°C (28.4°F) and thrives in hardiness zones 9b to 11b.
