Description:
Originating in Peru, this mat-forming perennial from the Crassulaceae family has compact rosettes of fleshy, ruby-colored leaves with serrated edges. It grows up to 8 inches in height and 18 inches wide, producing pinkish purple flowers between summer and late spring. It is drought-tolerant and requires well-draining gritty or alkaline soil.
