Description:
Euphorbia abyssinica, also known as the desert candle, is a succulent native to Ethiopia and Sudan. It can reach a height of 33 feet and features small purple flowers surrounded by yellow bracts. This plant prefers bright but indirect sunlight and requires succulent soil mixed with sand or gravel. It is frost hardy to temperatures above 32°F and is propagated using stem cuttings.
