Description:

This native shrub mint from Florida grows in sandy, acidic soil and moist but well-drained pinelands. It forms a 2-foot tall and wide shrublet with tiny aromatic green leaves and small lavender flowers that attract butterflies. It flowers from November to April and can be used to make a hot tea to reduce fevers.
