Description:
This plant is a newer variant of the Microsorum family, known for its thick, ruffled leaves with darker veins. It is a popular choice for aquariums due to its beauty and ease of care, thriving in low light and a wide range of water conditions. The plant can be attached to driftwood, rocks, or decorations, and its rhizomes must be kept above the substrate to prevent rot. Propagation is done by cutting or pulling apart the rhizomes. Originating from Indonesia, it grows to a height of 3-5 inches and prefers a pH range of 6-7.5. It is found in various regions including Malaysia, Thailand, Northeast India, and parts of China.
