Description:

Drosera petiolaris is a fascinating carnivorous plant native to the Northern Territory of Australia. It features semi-erect or prostrate leaves in a compact basal rosette, with small round red carnivorous leaves. The plant blooms with white or pink flowers from February to May and thrives in hot temperatures with lots of light and high humidity. It experiences a cycle of 6 months of dry dormancy and 6 months of wet growing season. Drosera petiolaris is not under threat and is considered common in its native habitat.
