Description:
Lycoris rosea 'Flash Dance' is a hybrid plant known for its brilliant red flowers with blue-dipped petal tips. It grows to about 18 inches tall and features up to 10 black-red buds per stalk. The leaves emerge in early October, and the plant performs better in open shade north of Zone 8. This hybrid is a cross of Lycoris radiata v. pumila and Lycoris sprengeri 'Hayward'.
