Description:

Aspidistra grandiflora is a low-maintenance perennial identified as a new species in 2007. It forms an 18-inch tall by 2-foot wide specimen with glossy green leaves dotted with bright yellow. Flowers resembling giant yellow spiders appear in June. This plant thrives in shade and is durable in less than ideal conditions.
