Description:
Sarcococca ruscifolia var. chinensis, or red-fruited sweet box, is native to southern China and grows on limestone cliffs. It forms a dense mound of green foliage and produces fragrant white flowers in October, followed by red fruit in winter. This plant is drought-tolerant and thrives in part sun to light shade.
