Description:

Known as a desert fern, this plant forms a 1-foot tall by 18-inch wide clump with dark-olive, narrow, upright, evergreen fronds that have fuzzy brown backs. It thrives in alkaline soils with a pH of 6.2 and a wetter climate with good drainage, and its leaves curl inward during drought.
